Kok Keong is the current Chairman of the Council of IVAS. He is also a certified Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) by the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers of Singapore (IVAS).

Kok Keong has been involved with IVAS since its inception as a Work Group in 2013 during which the Institute made meaningful progress to promote and develop the Business Valuation (BV) industry in Singapore. This included the launch of the CVA Programme, Asia's first professional BV qualification, as well as spearheading the provision of technical advice to regulators such as ACRA and SGX RegCo.

Kok Keong is a Partner of PwC Singapore M&A advisory practice in Singapore and leads the Singapore Financial Due Diligence, Valuations and Business Recovery practice.

Kok Keong provides M&A advisory services to his clients in respect of their Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, due diligence, restructuring, Purchase Price Allocation exercises, asset impairment reviews and employee stock option valuation. In addition, Kok Keong has also acted as expert advisor and/or witness to several litigation cases involving valuation matters. The total transaction value of the deals he has participated in to-date is above US$100 billion.

Kok Keong graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (ISCA).

Mrs Lim was appointed to the IVSC Board of Trustees in June 2020 and become Vice Chair of the Board in October 2022.

In 2009, Lim Hwee Hua became the first woman to be appointed a full Cabinet Minister in the Government of Singapore. Her political career began in 1997 when, as a candidate of the ruling People's Action Party, she was elected as a Member of Parliament.

In 2002 she was appointed Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, the first woman to hold both positions. In 2004 she was made Minister of State for Finance and Transport, and in 2008 she was promoted to Senior Minister of State for Finance and Transport. The following year Hwee Hua was appointed to Cabinet as a Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and the Second Minister for both Finance and Transport.

At the Finance Ministry, Hwee Hua spearheaded the reform of the accountancy sector, reviewed Government's investments in business, and helped implement financing options for small and medium enterprises. At the Transport Ministry, she corporatised Changi Airport, helped establish a master-plan for aviation and was instrumental in expanding the International Maritime Centre.

Her ministerial responsibilities reflected her educational background. Hwee Hua went to University of Cambridge on a scholarship, graduating with an honours degree in mathematics and engineering in 1981. She then joined the Administrative Service, serving in the Finance, Education and Law ministries.

In 1989 she obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1989, she joined Swiss Bank Corporation as an investment analyst; in 1992 moved to Jardine Fleming as Head of Research and Director of Business Development and in 2000, to Temasek Holdings where she was Managing Director of Stewardship/Strategic Relations. Whilst at Temasek till 2004, she was heavily involved in the transformation of government-linked businesses.

Hwee Hua retired from politics in 2011. She returned to the private sector, taking on appointments such as that co-chairman at boutique private equity firm Tembusu Partners, Senior Advisor to the global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange and independent director of BW Group and Summit Power. She also served as independent non-executive member of Ernst & Young's Global Advisory Council (2011-2014), member of Asia Advisory Board of Westpac Institutional Bank (Australia) (2013-2018) and honorary chairman of the Securities Investors Association (Singapore) (2013-2017).

Hwee Hua has authored two publications:
(1) "Government in Business – Friend or Foe" in 2014, which has been translated into Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish; and
(2) "Government in Business – Leading or Lagging?" in 2021.

In his 30-year career in the area of corporate finance, Alex led and completed numerous corporate finance transactions and secondary market and advisory transactions for some notable establishments.

Leyu heads the TMT team within Capital Markets, and is active in reaching out to the start-up ecosystem to help innovative growth companies in their fundraising plans. This is her second time back with SGX, having previously covered the Southeast Asian markets, including Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar to work with regional businesses interested to list in Singapore, before she left in 2015 to join Capbridge, a fintech startup that leverages on technology to match professional institutional investors to growth companies seeking funding, and regulated by MAS. She then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers' Singapore Venture Hub, a one-of-its-kind initiative to create a one-stop shop for investors and startup founders. She rejoined SGX in late 2018.

Paul has more than 20 years of experience as a fund manager and sell-side analyst. During his time as fund manager, he has managed multiple funds and mandates including capital guaranteed, dividend income, renewable energy, single country and regionally focused funds. Paul was previously attached with UOB Kayhian, Prudential Unit Trusts, Daiwa Asset Management and BNP Paribas Investment Partners.

Lally Rementilla is Managing Partner, Intellectual Property-Backed Financing at BDC Capital. She oversees and provides strategic guidance to a national team that helps IP-rich companies become global leaders by accelerating their growth and commercialization of their innovation.

Following nearly two decades of experience as a financial executive in the technology sector, Ms Rementilla moved into investment, becoming Chief Financial Officer and then President & Chief Executive Officer of commercial lender Quantius. Prior to that, she held head of finance roles at Nulogy Corporation, Lavalife Corp. and Lucent Technologies Canada.

Ms Rementilla is chairperson of the board of Interaxon Inc. and is an Associate Fellow at the Creative Destruction Lab. She also sits on the Advisory Board of VentureLab’s Hardtech Investor Network.

Ms Rementilla is wrote a chapter in the book Intellectual Property Management for Start-ups. A Chartered Professional Accountant, she also holds a Master of Business Administration from York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ateneo de Manila University.

Nicolas Konialidis is the Director (Asia) of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC). He is also the technical director of the IVSC’s Business Valuation Board. He has three decades of experience in equity markets, corporate finance, and valuations in Europe, the USA and Asia.

Nicolas is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) and an Associate Member of the ASA.

He has lived in Singapore since 2009.

Ms Indranee Rajah is the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. She is also Second Minister for Finance and National Development.

Ms Indranee is the Leader of the House for the 14th Parliament. She has been a Member of Parliament for the Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency (GRC) since 2001.

She is a Senior Counsel and was a practising lawyer before joining Government.

Ms Indranee assists in the oversight of the National Population and Talent Division in the Prime Minister’s Office.

Under her Finance portfolio, she is involved in the development of the Government’s fiscal policies. She also oversees the Professional Services Programme Office and Infrastructure Asia. As Second Minister for National Development, she is involved in the formulation of Singapore’s housing and development polices.

Soo Earn leads the Global Deloitte Private Financial Advisory practice. Concurrently, he also leads Southeast Asia Deloitte Private and Private Equity practice.

He has extensive deal experience in leading and supporting strategic and financial investors in their domestic and cross border transactions. He has also supported owners in divesting their business and entrepreneurs in accessing growth capital. Given his technical expertise in valuation and deals, he has acted as an independent expert on a number of dispute cases, handled numerous valuation and modelling engagements for M&A, regulatory & taxation, and financial reporting purposes.

He has been recognized as one of the world top 300 IP Strategists in 2013, 2014, 2017 to 2023 by the Intellectual Asset Management. He was also selected by Who’s Who Legal from 2015 to 2018 as one of the leading Due Diligence Accountants.

Ashish is a managing director in the Valuation Advisory Services practice at Kroll Singapore. He provides valuation services to his clients regarding their Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) exercises, asset impairment reviews, and other financial reporting valuations.

With over 17 years of valuation experience in Singapore, Ashish has worked on deals across borders as well as across various industries including telecom, precision manufacturing, consumer & retail, food & beverage, healthcare, power generation and infrastructure. He has advised several companies in their M&A, IP valuation and financial reporting valuation requirements. He has also advised various private equity players in their financial reporting as well as portfolio valuation requirements.

Ashish is a registered Chartered Valuer & Appraiser (CVA) with Institute of Valuers & Appraisers, Singapore (IVAS), a member of the IVAS Council and the Chairperson of IVAS’ Standards and Technical Working Group.

Chris leads PwC Canada’s Disputes Advisory practice. He has over 25 years of experience acting as an expert witness on complex business valuation matters and has successfully testified before courts and tribunals around the world. Chris also serves as an arbitrator or independent expert for the purposes of resolving commercial disputes.

In addition to his practice at PwC, Chris is the past Chair of the Canadian CFA Society, the current Chair of CBV Institute (the professional body overseeing the practice of valuation in Canada) and advises the Canadian Securities Commissions and Accounting regulators on issues relating to financial accounting and valuation.

He holds Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Hons BComm), Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Laws (LLM) degrees, as well as the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Chartered Arbitrator (CIArb) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designations.

Prof. Chul Choi is a professor at the Law School of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) and a director of the Center for International IP Finance. Prof. Choi has been involved in IP policy in Korea and conducted research regarding IP Finance. He was an expert committee member of the IP Policy Council of Prime Minister’s Office and the Presidential Council on IP Policy of Korea. He also acted as a non-executive director of Intellectual Discovery, a major IP specialized company with financial asset management subsidiary co., established by the Korean government and major Korean corporations. Prof. Choi co-authored a book, IP Finance: Structure and Case of IP Business Model and Finance, published in Korea by KIIP and in China by IPPH, respectively, under governmental sponsorship. He has participated in international conferences and programs on IP Finance as a speaker and moderator. Prof. Choi is also qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in England and Wales. Before joining HUFS Law School as a professor, he practiced law at an international law firm, Allen & Overy LLP, in London and Hong Kong. He also participated in the STS fellow program at Harvard Kennedy School. He holds degrees of LLM in Intellectual Property Law and LLM in International Finance Law from the University of London. He also graduated from Seoul National University and earned MBA in International Business and BA in Management.

Daren Tang, a national of Singapore, began his six-year mandate as Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on October 1, 2020. Prior to his appointment as WIPO Director General, he served as Chief Executive of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), driving the strategic transformation of IPOS in support of Singapore’s innovation-based economy.

Between 1997 and 2012, before joining IPOS, Daren Tang held different legal positions within the Attorney-General’s Chambers and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore. In 2016, he received the Public Administration Medal from the Prime Minister's Office Singapore for outstanding efficiency and competence in the service of his country.

Daren Tang is a graduate of the National University of Singapore (Bachelor of Law, Honors) and the Georgetown University Law Center (Master of Laws, Distinction). He also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is fluent in English and Chinese.

Associate Professor Johan Sulaeman is the Director of the Sustainable and Green Finance Institute (SGFIN), a research institute established by the National University of Singapore (NUS). SGFIN aims to shape sustainability outcomes across the economy by providing deep research capabilities in sustainable and green finance with the focal point on Asia. He is a Dean's Chair and an Associate Professor of Finance at the NUS Business School. He also serves as one of the Scientists at AIDF (Asian Institute of Digital Finance). He has been involved in designing and delivering executive education programmes for large companies and financial institutions in the region, primarily on topics related to sustainability.

Jordan Dea-Mattson is a 35 year veteran of high tech. He first was paid for writing code in 1981 and joined Apple after graduating in 1986. He has been involved in software development and engineering ever since.

He has worked at a range of companies from Apple, Adobe Systems, Indeed, Yahoo, Silicon Valley Startups, Trade Gecko & Carousell locally, and most recently was a SmartNation Fellow with GovTech and the SmartNation & Digital Government Office.

David N. Alfred is Director and Co-Head of Data Protection, Privacy and Cybersecurity at Drew & Napier LLC and a member of the firm’s Artificial Intelligence and Digital Trust practice. He is also Co-Head and Programme Director of the Drew Data Protection and Cybersecurity Academy.

David is a senior technology lawyer with over 25 years’ experience advising on matters relating to the digital economy, digital technology, telecommunications and the Internet. He has advised extensively on the development of data protection laws in Southeast Asia, data breaches and cyber regulation, cybersecurity reviews and audits, data sharing and cross-border data transfers, data protection management and AI regulation. Taimur Baig, PhD, heads global economics as well as macro strategy for interest rate, credit, and currency at DBS Group Research. He also advises the bank on risk management and investment strategy.

Prior to joining DBS in 2017, Dr. Baig was a Principal Economist at the Economic Policy Group, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Earlier, he spent nine years at Deutsche Bank’s Singapore office, where his last position was Managing Director and Chief Economist, Asia. During 1999-2007, he was based in Washington, DC, at the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund, where his last position was Senior Economist.

Dr. Baig has published extensively for both specialists and a general audience, on areas including monetary policy, digital currency, financial technology, climate change, demographics, frontier markets, fiscal policy efficacy, and financial market contagion. Dr. Baig is an Honorary Advisor to the Global CFO Network, Director Fellow at the Asian Financial Cooperation Association, and Council Member of the Economic Society of Singapore. Andrew brings with him more than 25 years of valuations, capital markets, financial modelling and financial advisory experience in serving local, multinational and listed companies in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region.

Outside of Deloitte, Andrew is also involved in Singapore’s valuation industry, being a member of the IVAS Council from 2018 to 2024 and the IVAS Standards & Technical Committee from 2017 to 2024. Martin Brassell is an expert in the use of intellectual property (IP) in business finance, and the asset identification, scoring and valuation processes needed to facilitate this emerging market. He is co-founder of Inngot Limited (www.inngot.com), which provides the innovative online platform needed to help businesses and lenders like NatWest and HSBC UK find and leverage IP value.

Martin has written influential publications on IP identification and financing for a range of organisations including national IP offices (UK IPO and IPOS), industry bodies (ACCA) and leading international organisations (OECD and WIPO). Most recently, he authored the UK’s Journey report on IP finance for the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO, 2023).

Terence heads the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (“TMT”) Centre of Excellence in Sector Solutions Group of UOB Global Wholesale Banking since 2017, where he is responsible for the strategic business development activities relating the TMT sector across the regional banking franchise of UOB. Prior to this role, Terence was heading the corporate banking coverage for TMT sector across all overseas markets outside Singapore since 2010. Terence has many years of wholesale banking experience with a few reputable multinational and regional financial institutions, of which many of his banking years have been in a focused coverage role over the regional TMT sector in Asia.

Dr Ho is SkyLab Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. He is spearheading SkyLab’s effort in the implementation of large-scale 5G ready enterprise grade heterogenous cloud computing solutions across different domains, including telecommunications, data center, AI as a Service, smart cities and strategic city management, maritime and logistics, leveraging on SkyLab’s end-to-end capabilities in optimizing the delivery of content, software and machine data globally.

He has more than two decades of experience in managing large scale international business, city planning, design and technology consultancy, real estate investment and development as well as project management. His other areas of expertise includes strategy, business process re-engineering, business development, management and commercialisation of intellectual properties, facilitation, public speaking and organisational development. Stephen’s extensive international experience ranges from China, South Asia, South East Asia, Middle East and Africa to Latin America.

He has held leadership roles in large publicly listed, private and government organisations previously and continues to do so in the military.
